Wire and Program Panic/Hold-Up Zone with Local Siren - Honeywell

Panels: 

Vista 20P, Vista 128-***, Vista 256-***

Description:

Hardwired button with or without latching. Typically used under a desk or counter and used to request immediate police response. Sounds local siren.

Wiring Method:

Supervised circuit with resistor bridging common and normally open terminals.

Circuit Response:

This is a 24-hour zone. Operates the same with the system armed or disarmed.

Static Button – Normal Condition
Button Press, or wire cut/short/removed – Immediate Police Dispatch (if monitored) and Local Siren.

Installation Notes:

Best to wire directly to the main panel if possible. Wiring to an expansion board increases possible circuit failure and nuisance alarms.
Label wires at the panel with the flag: PANIC 

Programming:

Hardware Type: EOL, Do not use a normally open or normally closed hardware type.  The resistor is there to provide a SUPERVISED CIRCUIT. 

Zone Type: 07
